The past couple of days I have been keeping track of what I have made on Clixsense. On 11/15/2009, I made $0.26, yesterday (11/16/2009) I made $0.27 and today (11/17/2009), I made $0.16, before 8 a.m., so I still have the rest of the day to make more. When I logged into my account, I found 15 ads to click, and one was worth $0.02. Some days, you will get ads to click that are more, usually, they are $0.01. Now, I'm sure most of you are thinking big deal!!!! But I look at it this way...it's more than what I had before and it was free--all I had to do was click on the links and view some websites. I log into my clixsense account several times a day to see if there are more ads to click. Sometimes yes, sometimes no. After awhile it does add up and I use what I earn for advertising my programs. I even used my earning to pay my membership for another year, so there was no out of pocket cost. What a Deal!!!!!
Wordlinx has created a new flash game that you can put on your website(s) called CashGrab. You can get the code to put it on your sites by signing into wordlinx (if you already have any account), going to referrals, click on "more banners and links". If you don't have an account, please, join Wordlinx under me by clinking here. And here is a preview of the game,
The reason why I started this blog and my website was to provide some answers to the newbies. When I first started out doing this, I had no clue as to what I was doing. I'm not sure if I still know what I am doing, but in a year's time, I have learned a lot.I have learned that you have to be dedicated to doing this, just like you were running an offline business. Because that is what this really is---a business. You can't jump from one business (program) to another, to another and expect to make anything doing it.It takes FOCUS! You have to focus on advertising and promoting it. You have to develop it and build it up. One business at a time. I have done some promoting, and I will have to admit, I haven't promoted as hard as I could be doing. I have a few referrals in some of my programs that I have joined. But there a lot more programs that I don't have any referrals signed up in. It is very hard to stay focused on one program, because you have all these different programs promising you millions overnight. It DON'T happen that way.I have signed up for 15 to 20 different traffic exchanges.I was trying to work all of them everyday, plus do my PTC sites, my downline builders sites, check my emails accounts everyday, plus promote all of these sites by sending out emails in safelists and set up a website and blog. You know what?????It's too much to try and do all of that everyday. So, I cut down how many traffic exchanges I surf a day. I unsubscribed to some of the newsletters and emails I was getting a day. I have decided to work 1traffic exchange a day, maybe 2, depending on how well the day is going and how many outside interruptions I am getting. I figured it this way, if I can surf 150-200 page views in 1 traffic exchange a day, it's probably better than25-50 pages a day in 15-20 traffic exchanges. That way I can check email at the same time and do my PTC sites. What I would like to do is this. Take a day and list all of the traffic exchanges, safelists, PTC sites, downline builder sites etc. I belong to with a very short description of each and go from there to see what happens.
Til next time--Have a good one
I think one of the biggest things I have learned about making money online in the last year is this---you got to have FOCUS and lots of it. You have to learn to resist the temptation of trying out all these new programs that you see. Sometimes, the way they advertise makes it really, really difficult.
The reason I am saying this is because I got to looking at my inbox the past couple of days and I'm seeing all these emails about this program and that program. As I'm reading all these emails and checking out the program they are promoting, I'm thinking to myself where did all of this come from!?!?! It was programs that had won, where temptation had gotten the best of me. By the time I got through reading all of them, which took me the better part of the day, I thought enough is enough!!! So I started to unsubscribe from a lot of them.
Because when you think about it, if you are checking emails for the better part of a day, how can you promote your business. You can't!!!!! Because you are too busy reading emails from everybody else that's trying to promote their business.
So I decided I would keep the ones from my PTC sites and from the traffic exchanges that I frequent the most and pitch the rest after I unsubscribed from their programs and lists.
So that I could go back to concentrating on the ones I want to promote and start getting referrals for them.
So, if you find yourself in the same situation that I was in, you have to decide which ones to keep and which ones not to keep. Then after you do that, you can get back to promoting your business, whatever it may be.
Believe me, I found it hard to unsubscribe from some of them, because they make it sound soooo good, but in the long run it is going to save me time.
Later, after I have my business up and running like I want it to and it's pretty much on automatic, then I might go back and check some of these programs out again. I'm sure they will still be promoting the same programs 6 months from now that they are today. Possibly, better ones!
If you do what I did, I wish you Good Luck, because it will be somewhat difficult with some of these programs. They make them sound irresistible, which is why we join them in the first place
I didn't realize that 2 weeks have gone by already. Course, this time of year with the holidays and everything that has to be done, it sure is hard to keep track of time.
I've been trying to decide which program I wanted to explain about first. Since they are all very good programs, I decided on Clixsense. This program is free to join. Free members will receive 10 cents for each member they refer. You also get 10% revenues from ad purchases.
When you upgrade to a Premium account, you get 10 cents for each member you refer, and $2.00 when your referral upgrades to a premium account, and the 10% from their ad purchases. Also, when your direct referral refers a new member, you will $1.00 for them. This is done 5 levels deep.
I don't remember exactly how much it was to upgrade to a premium account, but I think it was about $10.00. But as a premium member you get a lot more ads to click.
Upgrading at Clixsense is a very good value, especially when you consider that you will get more ads to click. And sometimes, there are ads that are worth more than 1 cent. Most of the ads are 1 cent, but occasionally you will find some for more and it tells you in the ad description how much the ad is worth.
When I first got started in this making money online adventure, I saw all of these abbreviations. Some weren't hard to figure out. Some it was like learning a new language. So, I'm figuring that if I had a problem with them, I'm probably not the only one.
So here they are:
GPT--Get Paid To, could be GPT click, read, or signup PTR--Paid To Read, usually emails PTC--Paid To Click PTSU-Paid To Sign Up, for offers on some websites TE---Traffic Exchange GC---Gift Certificate or Gift Card CC---Credit Card OTO- One Time Offer (I could never remember this one) MLM- Multi-Level Marketing ROI--Return On Investment HYIP-High Yield Investment Program
WYSIWYG-What You See Is What You Get
If anyone reading this blog, can come up with anymore, let me know and I will include them here.
Hello and Welcome!
I set up this blog to provide information on the different programs I have joined.
Most of the programs I have listed are free to join. The reason why I say most is because there are a few that require a paid membership. The paid membership can be a monthly fee or a one time fee. If this is the case I will include that info in the description of each website.
As a newcomer to the making money online club, there were a few things I realized rather quickly.
1) It don't and won't happen overnight.
2) It does take work.
3) Promote, Promote, Promote!
I started my adventure in making money online in December 2007. I was really enthusiastic and pumped up about it. Joined some sites and started clicking. After 2 months of clicking 1000's of ads, I wasn't any closer to making those big bucks than when I started.
Then, I started thinking that maybe I wasn't doing something right. Maybe I missed something along the way. OK, so I started doing research on "How to make money online."
All the research boiled down to Build your list! Build your list! I.m still not exactly sure how to do that, but I'm working on it.
The other thing I learned from all the research is that one of the ways to make money online is to get people to sign up under you in the programs you have joined. In other words, get referrals.
That's why sometimes when you click on a website address, there are numbers or a name in the website address. These numbers or name refer to your sponsor or the person you joined the program under.
After you have been online to make money online for awhile, you will begin to see how important these numbers or names are.
So, don't delete or erase these numbers or names when joining a website, because this person will be you sponsor in that program. Usually, your sponsor will want to send you an email letting you know who they are and you can contact them if you need help or have any questions.
